Tesfa Haile

Tesfa Haile is a Project Management Professional (PMP) with a Ph.D. in Engineering Science – Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Western Ontario. He founded the company after working in government research centers, private consulting firms, and academia for over 21 years. He has been providing technical leadership to a team of engineers, scientists, technologists, and HQPs effectively, and collaborated with academia in the development of innovative industrial bioproducts, sensors, and coatings, among others for application in various sectors, including Oil & Gas, water & wastewater, and medical industries. Tesfa served as a chair and vice chair at NACE International for several years.

At Genesis, Tesfa's main role is establishing and maintaining effective formal and informal links with major customers, relevant government departments and agencies, local authorities, key decision-makers, and other stakeholders to exchange information and views and to ensure that the company is providing the appropriate range and quality of services. He directs and controls the company’s operations and provides strategic guidance to the management team. Tesfa creates a strategic marketing action plan to develop product and service awareness; tactically executes this action plan within the company’s marketing policies and programs to capture new business. He also prepares a corporate plan and annual business plan and monitors progress against these plans to ensure that the company attains its objectives as cost-effectively and efficiently as possible.
